NEW ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN BOSCOMBE

Boscombe in Bournemouth has seen a new restaurant open at 522 Christchurch Road. Pizzeria Via Roma is an authentic Pizza and Pasta house, delivering an Italian taste explosion.

This impressive new eatery is owned and run by Leo - a true Italian – along with his partner Ursula. The restaurant aims to provide a truly delicious experience for every diner, its kitchen staff priding themselves on their fresh flavours and warmth.

An enticing menu provides a good choice of mouth-watering antipasti’s including fried calamari, whitebait and scampi. For mains meanwhile stone baked charred pizzas, fresh risottos and delightful pastas come with a vast selection of tasty sauces, making your selection a great but difficult one.

The House Chef has specials available on a daily basis while all pizza and pastas are available for takeaway, perfect for a relaxed night in.

Having savoured the delicacies and ambience ourselves we would highly recommend this establishment.

Between us we enjoyed homemade garlic Focaccia Pugliese bread, before moving onto main courses stuffed with flavour. Peter tucked into a Pizza Verdue as I sampled the Al Pollo Risotto. We were not disappointed.

Pizzeria Via Roma currently operate a Bring Your Own Bottle policy, with a charge. Conveniently however the restaurant is located opposite Chaplin’s cellar bar, allowing for a quick visit to round off the evening. You may even get to take in a live show as bands are known to play here.

Boscombe’s latest restaurant is great value for money, supplementing fantastic foods with a great atmosphere. Moreover being just a stroll away from the Rosccourt it is ideally situated.

Pizzeria Via Roma is open daily from 11am -10pm. It can cater for groups as well as singles and couples. It is advisable to pre-book on Friday and Saturday evenings by calling 01202 064647 or just drop in during the day for lunch.
