Goodness knows we need something to be cheerful about , after the most horrendous year for us all. Bournemouth have announced they are going to have the Christmas market in town. They also have fabulous lights up in and around the centre and gardens

Something a little different is on offer in Swanage. The steam train will be running from 10th December to 20th December. There will be a Christmas light switch on before you board the train. You can pre-order a pic nic box of festive treats for the hour long journey through the Purbecks viewing Corfe Castle. The carriages are steam heated to make a cosy evening.01929 425800

Christchurch have Flix offering a drive in movie experience at Adventure Wonderland from 11th December to 3rd January 2021. Something different again, take your car, wrap up warm and enjoy a movie with your own snacks and treats in the comfort of your own car. 

Local traders in Southbourne are putting on a community Christmas Market, showing off unusual gifts and produce for a festive Christmas . Go along and support them  11th December to 13th December

National Trust have many of their houses and parks open up to Christmas
