Just outside of Wimborne, the house was a family home built to resemble an Italian Place in 8,500 acres of estate land!!

The house is beautiful with art covering most walls. It was lived in until the 1980's so although grand it still has the feel of a family home. Nothing has been allowed to be moved or sold, so there is always loads to see, with most rooms open to the public. On a sunny day there is so much land to roam, rose gardens to visit and of course a fabulous picnic area. The stables have been converted into a lovely comfortable cafe with outside eating in the courtyard. From hot food to just a coffee and cake you can sit and enjoy the ambience. The usual shop on site offers unusual gifts, books and local produce.

Brownsea Island, is a treasure just off of Sandbanks and Poole.
